Martin is honored to announce his appointment to the Professional Standards Committee & to the MLS Committee of the Realtor® Association Of Greater Fort Lauderdale, one of the largest local Realtor® Associations in the U.S., with a membership approaching 14,000.
Members of the Professional Standards Committee sit on hearing panels that adjudicate alleged violations of the National 
Association Of Realtors® Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice, as well as Arbitration of commission disputes.
Martin moves on to the Professional Standards Committee after four years on the Grievance Committee, where he served as the 2006 Vice-Chair and the 2007 Chair. The Grievance Committee functions as the Association's grand jury, determining probable cause in alleged Ethics violations and eligibility for Arbitration of commission disputes.
The MLS Committee provides oversight of Multiple Listing Service policy, monitors the Service's performance standards, and recommends changes in technologies and services to meet current and future needs of the industry.
